I think the ribbing is done in fun and they all enjoy it.TGantz wrote: ↑December 4 25, 5:22 pmI've watched every episode so far. They've gotten better but there's always so many sarcastic burns to Jim and each other that waste time and are usually too mean to be funny. Gibson's tech is always terrible and talks like a politician if he's not ripping on Jim. Holliday is starting to put in a bit of effort but generally looks bored to be there. Lynn has upgraded his tech, has tried polishing his interview skills, and isn't afraid to speak about specific players even if it's negative.CardsofSTL wrote: ↑December 4 25, 3:29 pm
I enjoy listening to Holliday, Lynn and Gibson. Some of the show is filler but it is interesting to hear their takes on the different players.

Struggled with injuries. Good frame, has a four pitch mix.
He was moved to the bullpen (maybe this year) after being a starter for a long time.
His fastball is meh but he has some deception. Most likely a breaking ball specialist reliever who relies on his slider and curveball to get outs. Definitely a guy with a chance to stick in the bullpen. I read he can apply for a fourth option, which would help his chances of being an up-and-down guy.

Takes the Leahy role with him moving to the rotation perhaps.

Sports Illustrated quotes a reporter for the Boston Globe saying the Red Sox are interested in Donovan. It would be nice for Sonny and Donnie to be together again, but I would expect a good haul in return.

I can see what they're seeing in Pushard. His k/9 in the high minors the past two seasons has been 11.06 and 10.54. And in those seasons his FIPs were 3.41 and 2.98. WHIPs of 1.03 and 1.16.
He could stick as a middle reliever, sure. And if not, back to the purgatory of the Marlins' AAA team, no cost.
