I know it's different scenario and you know backstory IIrc, but when I see Isbell stepping in on set with the DBT -sure makes me wish Tweedy Farrar would cut the [expletive] do & something like that occasionally.

Nice! I couldn't get a solid commitment from any friends to road trip, so I didn't even try.The Third Man wrote:Got my KC ticket!

I was at the DBT show last week. Mildly disappointing. I don't think much of the new album translates well live and they focused heavily on it. Not enough of the old stuff. "Surrender Under Protest" was amazing, though.
Kyle Craft opened and he was really good.

While I haven't seen DBT concert live(or hardly any groups live lately). a good chunk of the DBT I've downloaded is their live versions. I think the new album is great, however I was wondering how well it would translate live juxtaposed against their older stuff.Farewell Friends wrote:I was at the DBT show last week. How much chattering between songs? I was interested how much editorializing here, with Ferguson just up the road.

Danny Brown x Paul White EP next Friday. Can't [expletive] wait. Atrocity Exhibition is my favorite album in years, so even two more songs from that duo is heaven to my e...cochlear implant. (Plus, dig the avatar - I kinda like its namesake.)
