Kyle Craft opened and he was really good.
While I haven't seen DBT concert live(or hardly any groups live lately). a good chunk of the DBT I've downloaded is their live versions. I think the new album is great, however I was wondering how well it would translate live juxtaposed against their older stuff.

How much chattering between songs? I was interested how much editorializing here, with Ferguson just up the road.
Almost none. Patterson talked about recovering from the flu and that was about it.

My guess is their lyrics have alienated enough of their fans that they don't feel the need to push any more over the edge.

Do you guys get any use from album reviews? If so, what is a good one? metacritic?

Going to see my friend play the Songbird series tonight. Got tix for Sturgill Simpson. And got screwed by accidentally buying mid level VIP tix for Chris Stapleton. $75 extra for a souvenir ticket. [expletive] that. Trying to get my $$ back.

I used to, but I found that it affected how I felt about an album before I even listened to it. If I read anything, it's Steven Hyden, P4K or AllMusic.

I don't really follow or keep up with music.

Just finishing up the tv show The Office, saw the clip below, and after googling the song, then making a pandora station, I think I like the Decemberists. (and the Shins, who, along with the Decemberists, seem to make up about half of the Pandora station's songs)

Huge news for chill folks who like to occasionally cheef it and hike in the woods/stare at stars.
Fleet Foxes are back (now with 100% less Father John Misty).
