And the urban/rural, big state/little state tensions are also as old as the republic too. Real America is both New York AND South Dakota. It's why compromise and checks and balances are so important. I move that some of this gets migrated over the the Coronavirus Politics post. Also make sure we're attacking the post and not the poster.

And? what is the point of this?Leroy wrote: ↑September 22 20, 11:13 amHe said that business intelligence pointed to a problem in Wuhan in November, when output from that area was going down noticeably. He then said that truck drivers were refusing to go to that area. Truck drivers there are for the most part independent I guess and can pick and choose where and when they do routes. Apparently, they were refusing to go there because people were getting sick.

not one reputable news source has come up reported a shred of evidence to back this. But that is the media of course.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote: ↑March 15 20, 12:36 am
I’d consider Tom cotton as my polar opposite. But I’d agree with him on this one. The disease is so close to existing ones but designed by someone so well to hide itself. The similarities and perfectly, for lack of a better word, ingrained upgrades make this almost unquestionably designed.
It doesn’t really matter though. Unless the plan is to go torture xi until he gives the ... whatever. It’s whatever. China designed this virus though. You can take that to the bank.
The dear leader Trump and his minions have not produced any evidence to this effect, even though they would like to have that evidence.
But big govt doesn't work. what is a good libertarian to do then - go conduct there own research in Wuhan?
The idea of bioengineered virus is not preposterous, but there is nothing to back it up in this case. At some point this should be admitted.

I’m fairly certain I didn’t say that quotes part in this thread. And have tried to keep this thread pretty much on point with facts. So I think you misquoted me and the search function agrees. But whatever. If we’re talking about real America and what not we might as well go full bore ignorant.Freed Roger wrote: ↑September 26 20, 9:36 pmnot one reputable news source has come up reported a shred of evidence to back this. Regardless, it’s undeniable that sars cov 2 is about 99.6 ish percent the same as sars cov 1.
China has gone out of its way to lie about it. First to The Who. Then to the world. Look at their numbers reported and it’s an obvious joke.
I’ve no idea what a reputable news source is anymore so touché.
