Nope. I'm really a USMNT fan, so with MLS a league-wide fan but as Clint Dempsey is the reason I'm a soccer fan, if anything, I'm a casual Sounders fan.

I never wear jerseys but for some reason it doesn't stop me from buying them. I have an Henry NYRB, Houston DeRosario and Seattle Dempsey road (last year's slate color).

I really hate their primary green color. They used to have a nice blue color--maybe before my time with MLS, and I do like that slate one. Their thirds until this year have been ridiculous.

The Timbers started with two great jerseys but since have been pretty spotty. Our last two thirds are excellent. Our present second is okay. Dislike our primary right now. If ever you're at a Timbers game and you see a guy in an original Rose City Red with Drexler #22 on the back, you've found me. I really dislike the neo-colors/elements in MLS kits. Though it's funny to think they're actually scaled back:

That is fantastic. Maybe someday PT will sign Julian Draxler and you can really confuse people.


I agree that the "rave" green Sounders stuff is tacky as hell. It looks ok when you're in a stadium with 35,000 other people looking tacky, but on the street it's not the most flattering color for anyone.

I can't wait for the day when we get past the Adidas only designs. They don't sell globally so they put no effort into the MLS designs.
The Nike Red Bull jerseys for Salzburg are so much better.

First, Joshua Yaro wants to win an NCAA soccer championship with Georgetown. Next, he plans to earn degrees in both government and anthropology, which would make his education-focused mother, Esther, very happy.

Later, he intends to go home to Ghana and help run the country because, he says, many of the best and brightest have left and not returned, creating a leadership void.

Wedged into that ambitious blueprint is a pro soccer career, one that could begin as soon as Jan. 15 when MLS conducts the annual draft. If the buzz around the league is genuine, expansion Orlando City would select Yaro with the No. 1 overall pick.

Whoah, some of those jerseys are ugly. Saying that, all English football shirts have got massive sponsor logos slapped across the front of them so they're no better.

My local team has gone through some changes over the years - http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Chester ... rfield.htm - I think the one which was just the Union Flag is perhaps a little bit over the top (the 1951-58 jersey is my favourite).

I read something Julie Foudy wrote for ESPN W last April about Tom Sermanni being fired. She used the word "eluded" when she meant "alluded." I hope the English will improve in US women's soccer with Jillian Ellison, an English major, as the coach.
