Only did edible once, but think it would be terrible for motion sickness. Coming down from it was pretty nerve wracking. Ordered dinner at a brewpub and had it wrapped up because was squeamish -not naseous but needed to move and get fresh air.

Yea I’m starting to get the impression that an edible is not a good idea.

May go the CBD route

Guess it's best to just smoke grass.
Natural compounds added to marijuana-derived vaping liquid produce toxic chemicals in the vapor that users inhale, a new lab study reports.

The compounds, known as terpenes, are added into pure THC distillations to dilute the product and provide the vapor with aroma and taste, said senior researcher Robert Strongin, a professor of organic chemistry at Portland State University in Oregon.

yeah, vaping hasn't ever sounded that appealing to me. i suppose there's an element of convenience, just taking out this device and taking a few puffs but eh. plus these additional health concerns, and you'll hear of vape pens exploding, etc. i guess also for me, my cheapskate nature being what it is, i've never wanted to bother with the investment of it all, the pipe and the cartridges. i enjoy the taste/smell of actual herb so another reason for me to stick with the basics. i've been buying pre-rolled joints since i've been out here, and they are nicely done but when i eventually get a pipe and starting buying loose leaf, i've always enjoyed the "process" of setting things up. picking out a bud, breaking it up, putting it in the pipe (or rarely when i'd roll a joint and spread it out on the paper). the calm before the storm if you will.

My wife's sister is MAGA-crazy and spends a lot of time on the internet and told me at dinner tonight that she has talked to some people (when I asked who she was incapable of saying who exactly) who live there and are saying that they are surrounded by potheads and people are fleeing Colorado.

go birds be careful out there!

I was going to buy some stuff this week but the lines were even more crazy then I had expected and it appears the dispensary closest to me has run out product for rec users. Oh well. Maybe next week.

The lines at both Moca and the one on North Ave by the expressway, I think it's NuMed, were over a block long on Thursday. I heard the same, that they were out of everything except a couple items unless you had a green card.

There is only one place open on the east side in Collinsville. Sounds like it's busy to say the least. It's bigger than a new Chik-a-fila opening Though, I am not hearing of the panic-buy herd mentality like Black Fridays sales of TVs or even a Chik-fila or whatever the [expletive] its called

I wonder why more dispensaries couldn't get open in Metro East considering the large population. My smaller old home town in IL has one and another not for behind, which I can scarcely imagine - that town is like Pottersville nowadays - maybe this will help.

Weed in downstate rural IL is going to be weird. I think it'll be a better fit in rural MO if it ever happens.
