Punto at 2nd was a really good call by Tony. He made some good plays tonight.

I don't know if we win if Punto isn't there. He made several plays that I don't think Skip or Theriot make. His tag on the SB was unbelievably quick.

That was weird.
Yeah, the moth that flew into Holliday's ear is really getting shafted in the "new mascot" contest.
The moth may now be in the great wool sweater in the sky.

So all the talking heads went with the favorite to win the series? I'm shocked.

Karabell picking the Phillies in 3 is [expletive] asinine though.

Punto not at second is a horribly bad call by Tony the rest of the time though.

Yeah, if the MI is Theriot/Schumaker instead of Furcal/Punto, we're talking about Kip Carpenter tonight. A good infield behind a good groundball pitcher is fun to watch.

The Furcal play on Ruiz was Belliard-esque.

Ryan/Punto all year and you might be talking about Cy Carpenter.

That's a bit of an exaggeration and wasn't exactly an option, but he led the league in innings and his peripherals are outstanding. Theriot/Schumaker was miserable.
