I think that OL/running game makes him look better than he really is. There's some teams that could shut that run game down and I'm not sure he has the ability to beat good playoff teams with his arm. The NFC is kind of weak this year so it's possible they make the Super Bowl, but I wouldn't expect them to win it.
Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl
With a historically great defense that gave up 23 points in four playoff games. The Cowboys don't have that.
But they got a stellar RB and a great OL
I already mentioned that. Good teams can neutralize the running game and one dimensional teams don't usually win in the playoffs.

I just don't see that team in the NFC.

Maybe not. I think Seattle and Arizona have the defense to do it and Atlanta/New Orleans can put up enough points to make it hard for a running team to keep up. Dallas is probably the favorite in the NFC right now but not overwhelmingly so.

True. According to Bovada, Seattle is +300 to win the NFC, Dallas +350.

cardsfansince82 is right. There are teams out there that would be interesting matchups for Dallas. Unfortunately, they don't have any of them on their schedule. The best teams in the league are probably NE, OAK, DEN, ATL, AZ, KC, SEA. Dallas doesn't play any of them. They won't really be tested until the playoffs, so it's hard to know how prepared they'll be for a test.

Any one of the AFC West teams would be in first place in the AFC South.

This Rams-Jets game is putrid, it seems like the overall quality of play in the NFL has gone way down

its really bad. i watched the cowboys-stillers game and that was pretty exciting.

but, the only reason i watched it is because of fantasy implications. wouldn't have cared had that not been the case.

that's probably been the most exciting game of the year and i wouldn't have given two [expletive] about it at all had i not had rooting interest.

there was a time when i would have been like "damn hate i missed that one". not so much anymore. the nfl sucks
