He already owns the Colorado Rapids. Can't own two anymore.

Also can't own an NBA or NHL franchise and own an NFL team. Doh!

And I see that someone pointed out that he and his partner are looking to build a major development in Maryland Heights that could potentially include MLS stadium.

It's one of the most unprecedented things that has happened in my lifetime as a sports fan. It would be nuts if they got a champions league spot, let alone a PL title.

Because we don't have promotion/relegation, there's no analogy.

By the way, I just realized the Timbers signed Jack McInerney. I like that dude. He plays like Taylor Twellmen but more of a jerk on the field. I hope he really takes off in Portland.

I'm definitely rooting for Leicester. That's all I ever wanted to see in that league. Maybe I should start paying closer attention again. Though it wasn't the lack of parity that got me off of it so much as moving back to the US where we have important things to talk about like nominal differences in football air pressure.

I thought our offseason was really good. We added a bunch of MLS veteran depth. JacMac can replace Johnson as the team ass.

Soccer is so strange. Chelsea is having a lousy season. Except that they're leading their UEFA league group. So odd to have two completely different seasons at once. Which takes precedence?
