terrible this season for Chelsea.thrill wrote:Depends on the club. Chelsea is out of the league so they'll put it all into the Champions League. Quite a few players fell out with Mourinho who had just signed a new contract and won the league last season.kakagogo wrote:terrible this season for Chelsea.thrill wrote:Depends on the club. Mourinho used to have "his" players (Lampard, Terry, Cole) who ruled the dressing room. Only Terry is still there and he obviously isnt as big a voice as he used to be.
The players simply stopped playing for him, happens all the time. They still get paid and what is the worst that can happen? They get transferred and get a payrise.
Eden Hazard is a strange one, he is an unreal player when he can be bothered. He has only scored once this season and looks to be off in the summer.
Changing the subject slightly, Everton are through to the semi finals of the FA Cup. Not won a trophy since they won the cup in 1995.
I can confidently say Everton are going to win the cup as ironically I will be in St Louis on cup final day in May.
I hope they put it on the big tv in ballpark village if they do get to the final.

This USA - Guatemala match though... might be worst I've seen from the Americans only 20 minutes in.

So are they going to qualify for the WC?

They've got three games to climb out of third place in their group. They trail Trinidad and Tobago (7 points) and Guatemala (6 points). The Americans... have 4 points. So, it's still certainly possible to turn things around. They were in a similar situation in 2012 - maybe even worse actually - but what is worrisome is how poorly they are playing right now.lukethedrifter wrote:So are they going to qualify for the WC?

Why do the US teams change their uniforms so often? I don't watch enough international soccer to know for sure, but it seems like most countries keep a fairly consistent uniform from year to year. The US has a major overhaul each year.
