Noot was great, but glad to clear room for Baez.

I bet Arenado is pumped.

Guess the D'backs will be my team in the wildcard chase until the Cardinals decide they're serious again.

From Katie Woo

Right-hander Daniel Eagen (AA) and left-hander Sando Santana (AA) are two of three players heading back to St. Louis for Lars Nootbaar. Eagen ranked No. 13 for Arizona in The Athletic's top 20 prospects. Both considered top 30 in D-backs system.

Deal is pending medicals.

MLB has Eagan ranked #5 in their system

3 players for noot? Kind of shocked we got such good returns on both trades.

So Bloom made deals with the Brewers, Reds and Diamondbacks. Not using the Mozeliak rolodex I suppose.

The Radio guys here in Az are not to crazy about the Noot deal. Except for his name - they love that. Think they paid a heavy price for Noot.

It's pool space and the Cardinals had quite a bit to use I think. This is just a cheap way to replace JoJo I suppose.

I know Houston was interested in Nootbaar but were a little put off at the asking price. I am thinking Chaim sets a price for certain players and if it is not met, he says fine and walks away.
