For those of you not in Cardinal/Ranger territory, I assure you I have never heard so much buzz about a WS game. Today I received an email from a colleague who retired a year ago, the first time I have heard from him since. He's a Cub fan. I got a call at lunch from a guy just to talk about the series. He's not of any team, nor baseball. He's a Bear fan. The lady passing out free samples of wine today at the liquor store asked me if they were going to do it ... the guy in line who certainly was not a Cardinal fan talked about how cool of a story David Freese is ... a lady that works for me who is completely oblivous to the sports world was aware of a "good game" last night ... and on and on and on.

Despite the smaller market teams, I have to believe this has been a good series for baseball. It's the best WS I've ever seen. Albert's performance in game 3, the game last night, bullpengate, ... unreal.
