Personally, I think they're pretty comparable. Ryan does some goofy stuff, but he's got the athletic ability to be a fine/above avg. SS. Same with Greene. Just my .02.

Re: the rest of this... honestly, you could probably come up with at least one head scratcher move per game. The biggest head scratcher for me is that, for a guy who pretty much revolutionized the game (for better or worse) with his orgy of LOOGY and ROOGY matchups (i.e. he had an ability to think really independently WRT the bullpen), I have no idea why he carries such an insistence on making sure someone has the Closer™ role. Other managers can make the bullpen by committee work as long as there are good enough arms in the 'pen, but it seems like TLR's head would explode if asked to do something like that.

I think Greene is a better SS than Ryan. Ryan is too wreckless imo.

IMO, the are both good defensively. Greene has a better stick and upside, I'd rather see him at SS and Ryan as the utility guy.

Yeah, I gotta agree. Greene should be better power wise and he has a shortstop arm. Ryan slings the ball and has very little power. He is pretty slick at short though.

why is rasmus batting 4th today? I think we need runners on in front of albert more than we need to protect him at this point
