I'm going to gush ... he's a special player and 30 AB's ain't gonna change that.
I haven't seen Martinez but the immediate answer is yes, in a heartbeat. I know people are getting maybe callous with the hype around Harper and then Heyward before him, but it's legit. With Trout that is as good of a trio of position prospects coming that I can remember. I'd really put Trout in that conversation, I think he's that good.

I've watched most of his games live, and have gone back and watched his PA that I missed on MLB.tv, and he's hitting the ball hard just about every time up. 4-30 could easily be 9-30 and a respectable average. He's hitting fine, they just are not falling in. F Gutierrez and Cocco have both robbed him of XBHes, he hit a liner right at Ichiro that comes to mind, and just about every ball I recall seeing him hit on the ground has been hard but right at someone.
His defense and baserunning are downright breathtaking and his makeup is through-the-roof great.
TT--it doesn't help that the baby bears traded away 30% of their top 10 prospects before the season started.
And McNutt is still a good prospect, just blisters issues and bruised ribs have held him down most of the season. I'd still send him to AAA next year with the possibility of reaching the bigs later that year.

The prospect fatigue comes more with being exposed to a lot of stuff that ignores quite a bit about the certainty of prospects realizing their potential. Whether it's Cubs fans saying to "trade everyone, blow it up, get prospects, rabble rabble", or Dave Cameron putting Trout #21 on the trade value list, I feel like this is a lesson we should have learned by now. That's to take nothing away from Trout though, who I haven't seen but sounds like a super fun player to watch and has an exciting pedigree.

I take more issue with Heyward at #8 than Trout at #21. Last year was an absolute best-case scenario for Heyward: His defense graded out as plus, his BABIP was high, and his BB% was a lot higher than you would expect from his individual plate discipline stats. The guy has already maximized his skill set, unless you think he's suddenly going to post a legendary Hall of Fame HR/FB rate despite not having the swing for it. I see a huge contract and a lot of 3.5 to 4 win seasons in his future, if he can finally stay healthy.
