Cardinals will need to have a better offensive approach against Rodriguez than they did in the matchup against him in St. Louis a couple weeks ago.

Hanging five runs on Rodriguez in the third was certainly a better approach.

RBIs by Blaze Jordan (triple) JJ Wentworth (single) Jordan Walker (double) and Burleson (single) made it 5-0 after 3. Blaze added two more runs in the fifth with an RBI single and it is 7-0 going into the sixth.

I wasn't home since this morning so this is a nice game to come home to.
8 pitch inning for Pallante, I like it.

Any relief from the smoke in the air?
we had some rain yesterday and it helped clear things up a bit.

I noticed Walker wearing the blue arm bands the other night and he has them on against today. I don't think he wore them earlier in the season with the road greys but I like the way they look; especially withe the navy helmet.

Arizona puts a run on the board with a lead off double and two singles to start the bottom of the sixth.

Good to hear. We've had/having fires here in Colorado but the skies have been clearing up here also.

7 runs in 6 innings and no homers hit. You can put runs on the board without homers?

Pallante wants to come out. Jeez. Getting 15 outs is all he can handle?

Pallante only gets 1 out and leaves the bases loaded as the Diamondbacks are trying to get back into this game. Stank into the game with a 7-2 lead.

Stank gets the second out of the inning on an infield fly.
