Getting out of that will help settle him down. If we had scored, you probably could have stuck a fork in him.
Belliard had a nice AB...swung at one he shouldn't have, didn't swing at one he should have, but he worked the count full and
just missed a line drive up the middle for two runs.

I don't mind him batting in the lineup...but I don't like him batting sixth over Molina right now.
I know a lot of people will disagree with me though.

Think Weaver wants to kill these guys? He looks focused. That's 4 strikeouts.

I liked the move of switching Weaver and Reyes when TLR announced it...can't say anything has happened yet to change my mind.
Perfect through two.

We have been watching the rebirth of Jeff Weaver his last few starts.
And it's been fun to watch.

At first I was a bit skeptical, but then thought about the crap some Detroit players said about him. I'd like nothing more than for him to get this win.

Belliard blows. He can't hit, and he can't run so he wasn't able to pick up an infield hit.
I hate that guy.
The one who really blew his AB was Edmonds.
Struck out on ball 4...then we would have bad bases loaded with Rolen up and one out.
Have to like that.
Two outs with Belliard up is a whole different story.

Molina with some solid plate discipline...lays off the breaking pitch outside.
Fouls off the FB...still 2-2.
Lines a hard single up the middle.
Can we keep this Molina?
Please?
