yall have piqued my interest in the the new vampire weekend as i, too, have merely tolerated them since i seriously do not give a [expletive] about the oxford comma.

Actually, I kind of agree. The Smiths were a real conundrum for me because I love(d) them musically but just really not a fan of Morrissey's voice. Bought (nearly) everything Johnny Marr did after (Electronic, Johnny Marr and the Healers)hoping to get Smiths less Morrissey sound but it never happened.

I am so [expletive] sick and tired of that stupid Home song by the American Idol dude. Played every commercial break during tonight's game. Then I switch over to NBA Finals and they play it as we go to halftime.

All of these new bands / artists sound the same.

That stupid "Home" song mentioned above. Another one I can't take any more of is "Some Nights" or whatever that one is.

Give me some loud, bass driven, in your face rock 'n roll about sex and drugs.
