I forget, which baseball "expert" said the Holliday acquisition wouldn't make much of a difference?

DIV - chance of winning the Division
WC - chance of winning the Wild Card
POFF - chance of making the Playoffs
Guess who?

Needed to reach 90 wins, as of 21 August 2009 Anno Domini:
Cards: 20 - 19 to finish 90-72
Cubs: 29 - 14 to finish 90-72

That's why I put 30-13 to "take the division".

Lot of season left. Cubs have quite a few patsies on the schedule, including 3 vs Nats next weak. 3 game winning streak cures a lot of ills.
Again, I'd prefer not to see the Cubs get the wildcard either. Instead of the last 2 playoffs as a highly-paid talented team playing against 100 years of losing, they'd be highly-paid semi-talented Cubs team playing with nothing to lose.
Cards just need to keep winning.
P.s. -went on Cubs website to view their schedule, I feel dirty.

Not when the other team wins their series as well.

I almost skipped this -after the Cards were the Padres pets tonight.
But the Cubs were one-hit so what the Hell...34 it is!

Sort of. That's three less games where they have the opportunity to gain ground.
