Random Pauly Shore fact: He just came through Iowa City this week, apparently he's still doing standup. My brother's girlfriend sold him pizza at her pizza joint. Sources did not specify the type of pizza, nor the total bill, but mention that Shore was distracted and dazed. Experts postulate that Shore was either under the influence, or perhaps simply depressed that he was performing standup to jeering, drunken Iowans.

Ran into Pauly Shore at the Rams-Packers playoff game some years back. I've got a pic somewhere. Got him on the field. He did not seem dazed.

I'm guessing the person who decided Pauly Shore was a comedian was the same person who made Primus a professional musical act.
