Gutsy win. Hofer shutout.
JFC we gotta figure out how to score more than 1-2 goals.

I was impressed with both Stenberg and Berggren.
Hopefully it’s not just adrenaline from their first game here, and this is who they are.
And dvo was all over the place last night. Best game I’ve seen from him.
Frustrating that we had basically 4 minutes of PP with 5 mins to go, and Monty just had them playing keep away and not trying to even attempt shots/score. He plays to not lose as opposed to playing to win/attack.

LOL... also, still can't score more than 1 goal. I think 2 is their max possible in one game.

The offense reminds me of this Monty Python gag.

And then we beat the Panthers at home 6-2… when they had won 4 straight and I think 7 of 8… that was unexpected.

Danault just got traded for a 2nd, and he isn’t having a great year. That’s a good sign in my estimation that Schenn should net a late first plus (or equivalent).
It also gives me hope that we might be able to snag a 2nd/3rd or two in exchange for some role players if the kids show they are ready to keep full time work.
I know DA wants young players and not picks, but you know what helps keep a window open when you have to make hard decisions about guys hitting their payday, a stocked prospect cupboard of talented young players coming in on cheap ELCs. If you can’t get the right young players, take the picks!
