Hah, funny that Billy Bush is excited, didn't his uncle used to own the Rangers?

I guess as much as we hated Tony for his game 5 use of the pitching, Texas fans have the same hate today for Washington.Faceman wrote:If you are a Rangers fan, how pissed are you?
Darren Oliver for a platoon advantage on Descalso and Jay?

Absolutely. I just don't find fighting a clock to be nearly as interesting as a team having control of their destiny the way baseball is set up to be.heyzeus wrote:Grantland (Jonah Keri) nails it.

Yeah, there were six or so of us initially going for it, but once those two guys dove on the ground everyone let up. I kept on in there in case it squirted free while they were wrestling. I never saw the actual ball once they jumped on it, I think he already has it tucked somewhere, and really never had a chance at it. But you see so many people have foul balls and homers land in their lap after deflecting off others, I wanted to at least give it a shot.ghostrunner wrote:No way. Ushers said the winner was taken away by security, likely negotiating a king's ransom for the ball.
Go [expletive] Cards. Can't wait to be there again tomorrow night.
I saw that guy holding onto it for dear life, like he was expecting it to be stripped away any second.

He said that as soon as he had a grip on it, he put it in his pants. You should have gone all Shredder on his pants.mcgee51taguchi99 wrote:Yeah, there were six or so of us initially going for it, but once those two guys dove on the ground everyone let up. Could have had a king's ransom, but he played it off nicely as just a fan. Sorry you didn't get it. That would have been the ultimate Cards gift.

The guy that got the ball. Those two got pictures made with other Cards players. Freese is with those two in one that's out there.letsgocards89 wrote:BW23 wrote:http://stltoday.mycapture.com/mycapture ... ryID=38580mcgee51taguchi99 wrote:Yeah, there were six or so of us initially going for it, but once those two guys dove on the ground everyone let up. "He didn't tell me he was going to wear that shirt before we came," Huyette cracked. "This is ridiculous."
