The Dark Side of the Ring docuseries (which is very good!) returned last night about the Plane Ride from Hell. Ric Flair really comes off looking bad, and so does Tommy Dreamer for as much as he defends him.

Ok, so, I started watching this recently and I know the Benoit episode is from a while ago, but...

Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero were for sure lovers, right?

Benoit had a whole cocktail of mental issues that all snapped at the same time. The most sobering part was when the guy who wrote the book about him listed out the health outcome of every wrestler who did the flying headbutt off the top rope as their signature move. All with severe spinal injuries, brain damage, and early mortality.

So many moves now that guys regret. Harley Race said he wishes he never invented the buckle bomb. And I know he's a POS, but Hogan had bones that basically fused together because of repeatedly doing the leg drop.

I don't follow as closely as I did even a year or two ago, but WWE is at as low of a point as I can remember. I still get the major PPVs, but the Royal Rumble was as poorly booked as it could be.

Danielson and Kenny Omega had an absolute banger last night. I'd probably put it 2nd on the best matches of AEW in 2021, behind Dr. Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa.
