I'll always go to bat for Lou Reed's "Perfect Day" as most depressing song of all time, but that one's got legs.

I found an interview a few years ago where Kozelek mentioned the inspiration for the song had died not too long ago. Just to make it extra crushing.

Who is it here who's a big Alt-J fan? I just heard the song Breezeblocks, and it's catchy as all hell and I can't categorize it.

Twas me. Love that album. I had to buy it through Google Play because it wasn't on iTunes for months after I heard it.

Is it worth buying? I love Breezeblocks but Tesselate underwhelmed me.

The whole thing is on Spotify or Soundcloud, just stream it and see if you like it. I listen to it... a lot.
