Apparently the 2018 2nd is a conditional pick because Montreal currently has Washington's 2018 2nd. I don't know what the condition is.

I guess it's not awful, but the Wild got more for Hanzal than we got for the best d-man on the market.

also, i'm confused...washington's 2nd rd pick in 2017 and 2018 were traded away in the lars eller trade. so how did we get their 2nd round pick in 2018?
