the "say goodnight" team on fox tonight did their say goodbye talk about weaver and it consisted of:

anchor 1: well, what the heck

anchor 2: sure why not?

anchor 3: well we shall see!

anchor 4: can't hurt!

i like the trade. and i wonder if it could shake people up...that yes, that mgmt will do something (to what degree i dont know) and that jobs (pitching) are in jeopardy

Sure seems strange though. Tons of pitches before age 25 . . . great arm, great results, promising young pitcher off to great start -- ERA+ 110-120 for three straight years -- then hits that age, and :blowup:

WHo is out? Good question, is it a setup to make a trade for a bat from a team that is looking for pitching? Jose Guillen for Marquis?
