CBS finally started talking about other news. They're talking about Karl Silberbauer, the guy who arrested Anne Frank, who was recently esposed.

The Catholic Church might absolve the Jews of guilt of the death of Christ. It only took 1900 years.

Meanwhile, CBS shows us a memorial service from Westminster Abbey, and the film has the caption "VIA RELAY SATELLITE". 1963, everybody.

Aldous Huxley died! I'm sure it was front page news. After all, the man wrote "Brave New World".

C.S. Lewis, author of the Chronicles of Narnia, also died on November 22, 1963.

The Space Trilogy books are more interesting and less racist.

My dad grew up in Dallas and tells the story of his second-grade teacher coming into the room and saying, "everyone go home, the president's been shot." Or something along those lines.
