I'll reiterate what I said about Reyes in the game thread: they have to trade him. He's just not any good.

Reyest, We all Knew!!

Give Larussa credit for throwing a guy who had good stuff against a team that sat for awhile. And give credit to Dunc for getting rid of the change up early. We all knew he had a future as a #2 or a great #3, well he proved to be a good pitcher tonight, just not a thrower. BTW, he is 25 Verlander is 23.

Was that a young Greg Maddux pitching for us tonight or our own Anthony Reyes.....Wow what a masterful performance....I wish he could bottle that up and have every time he pitches

Whatever Duncan said to Reyes after the 1st worked wonders.

89 pitches with ease does not need resting, he'd shut down the Tigers for seven straight. No reason not to let him pitch.
Let me clarify...I don't think it was a coaching gaffe by any stretch. I just would have done it differently. An easy game is always good...and leaving the game on a high note is underrated, IMO. Why give the Tigers any shot to get anything going against him when he's spun a gem through 8 innings? I just see it differently I guess, but I'm not upset about it at all.

I've really tried, but I can't keep myself from dreaming anymore. This team is finally healthy enough to win this dang thing and our luck is changing. I'm telling you if this were any year other than 2006, Rolen's shoulder would've completely seperated from his body on that collision. I can feel it (at least for tonight. :) )

A news report just came over the ESPN ticker: Keith Law's head exploded.
