How is it a matter of duty when it’s now been proven that natural immunity offers stronger protection than the vaccine alone in terms of the delta variant?

So why should those with naturally immunity be forced to take a vaccine (or how is it their duty), when their natural immunity protects them and others better (again with the delta variant)

(And we can stop with the nonsense on how long natural immunity lasts, as we don’t know how long it lasts for vaccines either, hence the multiple booster shots)

If someone can produce blood results showing previous infection antibodies, then that should be the equivalent to a vaccine card IMO. You should be able to register that as well so we can get numbers to combine with vaccination rates.

Between the vaccine and natural immunity, only one of those infects you with actual Covid, so that’s certainly a riskier bet. You’d be better off getting the vaccine and then getting Covid.

I don’t disagree about previous infection being good enough to get into places though.

Oh I’m not advocating for anyone to purposefully try and get COVID. That’s…well dumb

I’m just saying for the folks that happened to get it naturally, if they have active antibodies, then that should be equivalent to a vaccination card, and they should not have to get a vaccine if they choose not to and be exempt from any mandates it entails.

Starting Monday I had a scratchy throat and little nagging dry cough. My GF also felt like crap. I scheduled a PCR test for Tuesday afternoon just in case. By Tuesday night I had chills, fever and aches. I had CRAZY ASS fever dreams all night, too. But sometime around sunrise my fever broke and I was left with basically a moderate head cold.

Test results just came back +

Thank God for my vaccine.

So what’s the end game? Every time people get sick they have to go get a Covid test from now till eternity? Or be forced to call off work and pull their kids from daycare? Seems silly.
