Kurt Warner made one of the stupidest comments in the history of humanity on that ad.Popeye_Card wrote:That reminds me--the right has Jeff Suppan in their corner.Freed Roger wrote:

I'm a registered Republican, and I try not to commit until after the debates. I've just never seen a campaign as grotesque as the one the Republicans are running right now, and watching the smearfest that was the Republican Convention made me realize that I'm NOT going back to that side anytime soon.pop_haines wrote:Sheesh, what took you so long?Socnorb11 wrote:BW inspired me to make my first donation to the Barack Obama campaign today.

Who's Ben Stein? You never saw Win Ben Stein's Money? With host Jimmy Kimmel? Nobody's smarter than Ben! (Granted, he doesn't really support Palin as a choice for VP.)Freed Roger wrote:I'll see your Ben Stein and raise you an Al FrankenBW23 wrote :Meh. There won't be any backlash....Dixie Chicks aside. Besides Chuck Norris and Bruce Willis, there's really not any celebs on the right side. (Sure, there's Arnold, but he's really not a celeb anymore. And Barkley's not a Republican anymore.) Granted, Chuck and Bruce could probably whoop all of the others put together, and John Rich might make a kickin' country song for the soundtrack, but it's not like Conservatives have stopped going to the movies, quit watching TV or turned off their radios.
I guess Ben Stein's smarter than any other celeb, so we have that going, too.by the way -who's Ben Stein? Meh nevermind. what about this guy
...or this one
This one's my favorite though
Since we know her more as a celebrity than anything else - I dare say she counts too
IMO - celebrities almost need to forfeit their political opinions. Especially if you happen to be a celeb or intellectual in a totalitarian state - then its off to the Gulag with you.

Ben Stein was also a speechwriter for Richard Nixon.

Just saw this for the first time:
Who Am I?
I am under 45 years old,
I love the outdoors,
I hunt,
I am a Republican reformer,
I have taken on the Republican Party establishment,
I have many children,
I have a spot on the national ticket as vice president with less than two years in the governor's office.

Who am I?
I was a tall, skinny guy, who moved all over the place as a child.
I fought for civil rights
I was a lawyer
I was a state legislator in Illinois, then went to Washington.
I had no executive, military, or foreign policy experience to speak of.
Sadly, I was a Republican.
