Faulk to the wings at the buzzer is the rumor now
Apparently another 1st and a 3rd! And we have t take back someone named Justin Holl? Looks like a cash dump and FA to be to make the money work

Unlike schenn, I will not miss Faulk lol

Why we constantly had him out there at the end of games where he’d freak out and turn the puck over or ice it, I’ll never know

Getting two 1st's and two 3rd's for Schenn and Faulk would make me pretty darn happy. While keeping Thomas and Parayko.

If they are in this year's (loaded) draft, with the Blues' expected top 5 pick too - fantastic opportunity to restock the system.

Sounds like we’re getting the 1st of NYI from COL, so will prob be a late 1st

Also we’re getting Drouin in the schenn deal it sounds like? (1yeae left on his deal); and the prospect seems to be a goalie named Gidlof? (Sounds like a Harry Potter character)

Yes so sounds like we’re getting it all…

1st, 3rd, prospect G Gidlof and Drouin for schenn

Drouin I’m guessing to offset some salary and is signed through next year…he’s not useless

From Scott Wheeler of The Athletic:

Marcus Gidlöf, G, 19 (Leksands IF)

Gidlöf is a huge goalie (6-foot-6 and over 200 pounds) who played well at the J20 level last season and has taken a real step this season, playing to excellent results split between J20 and the SHL, where he has now established himself. He played well in two games at the World Juniors as well and should have started over Melker Thelin for the Swedes in my opinion. His size excites people but he also challenges shooters, fills the net, has good reflexes, moves well enough — he’s not quick or explosive but I wouldn’t call him slow for his size and experience level either — and can really own the crease when he’s on.

There’s still a little inconsistency in his habits, his ups and downs and his control (he can scramble and lose his net and his movement down low can look a little clunky at times) but he covers the bottom of the net really well, he moves well on his feet and he’s got the talent. Gidlöf has legitimate NHL upside.

And I’m guessing Holl that we got for Faulk with the 1st and 3rd could be brought up and used as a placeholder for him the rest of this season and then be gone (he’s a FA to be)

I hadn't seen it previously, either. I saw it on the tsn.com NHL trade tracker.
