One thing I didn't see is the mention of two strains of the virus. (L and S). One person that was on board one of the cruise ships and recovered got the virus again. Can't remember what the article said, but regardless, either getting the virus doesn't completely immunize the recovered patient. Or perhaps getting one strain provides immunity against only that strain (and not the other).

Woke up this morning with a sore throat and swollen lymph nodes. In addition to self-quarantining at home, I am also totally unconcerned about people “panicking.”


I wasn’t really concerned about that before, I’m just saying everyone needs to be serious about how they handle this.

No plans to get tested but I’m staying on top of local suggested guidelines about how/when to seek treatment and what symptoms to monitor if they get worse.

Right now I have a mildly sore throat and swollen lymph nodes, which could be any number of things, but I’m acting as if it’s corona. In normal times, I’d go to work with zero hesitation.

Yes, take care thrill. Even though the guidelines don’t list sore throat as a symptom, I appreciate the abundance of caution on your part. Sometimes good old common sense is the best guide.

I’m 99% that I got it either voting for Bernie in the primary or stocking up for quarantine at the weed dispensary last week, so if I die, it’ll be for the most millennial reasons possible. Cliche to the end, baby!
