How much of this is just bad luck vs things like incorrect positioning, etc? Some is luck. Some is poor positioning, at least in terms of trying to minimize the options for shots to deflect toward the goal. He's always had the great shot, but now he's able to catch defenses and goalies cheating on his shot and setting up Thomas/Holloway to finish instead. Two months ago, Snuggy probably tries to take the poor-percentage shot on that late third period goal, and hope that Thomas can clean up a rebound as the open trailer. Instead he makes a gorgeous setup pass.
