Least effective announcement ever?

Disagree. It made me notice the posts about the answers from the interview and the new server. I don't know why, but I never notice these announcements. I think I only noticed this one spatially, because something seemed weird out of the corner of my eye and I glanced up to see what changed and saw this thread. Of course, it took me a day or two, but at least I found it. Adding that 3rd line apparently was enough to fire a neuron in my brain that something was changed, although i managed to ignore that firing for a good day or two.Arthur Dent wrote:Least effective announcement ever?
can you make them red and shiny?jim wrote:Speaking personally, I think AD is right. I'm not even sure I knew there was an announcement section to be honest. Maybe it's just me, but I just never noticed.
I'm not sure what a better place to put things would be, or maybe I'm the only one not noticing stuff and I will now. Keep in mind, I'm the type of person where my wife will paint a room in the house and play a game to see how long it takes me to notice. I know at least once she had to come out and tell me after X days.
So maybe this is just me ... but really never noticed this area before.
And should be required to find your pants for you.docellis wrote:I agree. New users should have some decorum.
