I’m just a simple country rube, but what was the goalie for the US trying to do on that third goal by Belgium?

God only knows. As my son said, "Amateur mistake".

Belgium wins. I’m sure some people were rooting for them because of the red card controversy.

Mods, you can go ahead and lock this thread since the US is eliminated

It’s just this same thing every four years.

Two titans of corruption joining forces couldn’t even stop it.

Even before Belgium scored, the US looked like boys in their fathers’ suits.

I thought it was different this time!

We need a new Pulisic. I’m sure he’s marked out of the game and whatnot, but he’s shown precious little.

Good on you, though, for trying to insult an Englishman at a time like this, when we're fresh from beating Mexico, in Mexico City, down a man for the last half an hour of the game, while not even the entire 11 men of the USA, including a guy who 100% should not have been on the pitch, the head of FIFA and the President, could beat football powerhouse Belgium

ehh, it's soccer...the rest of the world's countries best athletes play soccer.

here? they play football (American football I'm referring to), baseball, basketball, or hockey.....and if you're not good enough for those, you can go ahead any try out for soccer.

so congrats to Belgium for beating the USAs 5th (and last) tiered "best" athletes.
