Argue with them. Get in their face.

So diplomatic. What a freakin' disgrace.
Vote for Obama.

You know you want to.

Do it!
There's nothing in this world that would ever make me stoop that low.

jim...haven't you complained about how much further the two sides get from each other? How scary the division between the two parties is?
I'm not sure why you and Rush are so shocked. Isn't that basically what we do on this board? You think we're all disgraceful?
You are what you are. Follow your leader's commands if you must.

This is a bit off topic, but if you all could choose one person, past president or not, that is alive right now to be president, who would it be? It doesn't have to be Obama or mccain. It can be anyone from your next door neighbor to Bill Clinton. Doesn't matter. Who would it be? Give a reason if you care to. I don't have an answer right now, but I'd say Forbes might be a good guy just because of his knowledge of the economy. Though, I'm sure he has a ton of things he's not solid on......

I'm having trouble following. What was the context here?
He's trying to get tougher. That's the context. Hope? Change? Well, he never said a change for the better.

I'm more of an anyone but Obama supporter. And that feeling gets stronger every day. The more I hear him and the more I come here, I get to where I truly fear where this country will be with him in charge.

And for someone that truly is scared about the divide in this country, it's good to see you doing your part.

Socnorb11... I could show you hours of footage of Obama talking about taxes, health care, etc. But I doubt if you'd be interested
Both are better than the news/talk demonization portrays them. That interview of Obama on Letterman - sure a silly talk show, but was more revealing of his personality and ability to lead than anything we are seeing. I've been more impressed with McCain in his casual interviews than the soundbite wars. Yes, even a dumbarse like Bush is not as stupid as portrayed but not by much

but your right, nobody is interested in the real people-moreso we want to see them look terrible. Sometimes I worry that the campaign process actually turns them into the portrayed ogres, like a self-fulfilling prophecy
