Turns out of the 13 cars McCain owns he has a Honda and a VW in the fleet, contradicting statements he made in Detroit.

Le Monde has this as their American Politics headline:
Après ses huit maisons, John McCain doit justifier ses treize voitures
Translation: He has beaucoup houses AND cars. Ok, so literally it's "After his 8 houses, John McCain must justify his 13 cars". They too go on in the article talking about the VW and Honda after the comments he made in Michigan.

But the only one in his name is the Caddy. The rest are in her name. Shoot, there are a couple of houses where both of them can't run errands at the same time without sharing a ride. Unless maybe they've got scooters.

Don't know if you guys covered this already, but it looks like the guy who hacked Palin's e-mail goes to UT-Knoxville.

Not really.
Experts said the hacker apparently left an easy trail for investigators.
"He might as well have taken a picture of his house and uploaded it," said Ken Pfeil, an Internet security expert. "He should have just set up a big beacon that said, 'Here's my house,' or confessed. If they can't catch this guy based on all the information posted on the Web then all bets are off."

The hacker described guessing correctly that Alaska's governor had met her husband in high school, and knew Palin's date of birth and home Zip code. Using those details, the hacker tricked Yahoo's service into assigning a new password, "popcorn," for Palin's e-mail account. What started as a prank was cut short because of panic over the possibility the FBI might investigate, the hacker wrote.

The FBI and Secret Service are now investigating.
I know I said I'd quit posting in this thread, but this isn't really a political issue despite the fact the kid is the son of a state rep who happens to be a democrat.

If that's true that someone should sue the bejesus out of Yahoo. All of that is basically public knowledge.

That's what I was thinking, too.

I had really never given it much thought, but I doubt I've ever used all factual information when setting up email accounts. I guess that's good.
