That was out of the entire park in Arlington.

It's hard to tell because Joe Buck nearly gleeks all over himself every time one goes deep into the outfield.

Yeah, that looked more like an 0-2 swing.

By AP's look he thought he had it as well, as did the LF who ran about 15 feet to far back.
Berkman clearly crushed his.

I still wouldn't leave him out there much longer, but he looked pretty good that inning.
I love your optimism Fat but I don't think the Texas hitters are just getting luck and finding holes. Jaime has had bad control all night so far. The only reason this game isn't 5-2 is because Lewis botched a bunt and Beltre swung at ball 4.
Except he IS getting ground balls. Boggs or Salas might be giving up HR's. Which would you rather have? You're taking a chance when you change pitchers. It's not an easy decision, but I also agree and have said that I would still get Garcia out of there are the slightest hint of trouble.
I definitely agree that you put Jaime out there until the next time the Rangers get a guy in scoring position. Still too early to go to the pen if you can avoid it.

I was standing up cheering and I can usually tell off the bat. That should have been in the bleachers on a normal night.

OK, now that we know the ball isn't carrying, I change my strategy. I would consider going to Jackson early, but it doesn't seem like Tony is interested in using his starters right now.

It looked to me like Albert didn't get the sweet part of the bat on it. I think it was a little inside on him, didn't get the barrel on it.
