This is a combination of awful play by Mizzou and some terrible biased reffing. Everything Mizzou does now is a foul, yet K-State essentially has to land on Ramsey to get a foul called on them. Not that Mizzou is playing well. They are running out of control and chucking some ridiculously stupid shots. It's gonna be hard to get back in this game.

Haha, what an awful intentional, Paul went after the ball. No way Mizzou comes back with this [expletive] going on.

Yeah that intentional was horrid. [expletive] this game. Can't get any calls and so they don't even drive the ball anymore. No passing, just settling for bad jump shots.

I don't know if I've ever seen an intentional foul when you can hear the thump of the defender getting the ball throughout the arena.

Lunardi's latest "Bracketology" (from 2/26) had Mizzou as an 8 seed, going out to the West bracket. I'm not sure what to make of that.

Yeah, that was a bad call for sure.

After a pretty ugly showing (though the refs didn't help) in the K-State game, Lunardi moved them up to a 7 seed in the West bracket.
Also something I can't understand is why people still think Illinois deserves an at large at this point. It's still a decent probability that they lose the remaining two and that will land them at 18-13 prior to the B10 tourney. I don't see enough big wins to boost them up to that point especially when you add in the bad losses to Utah, Georgia, and Bradley.

That's odd that he'd move them up on the strength of a loss.
I could see anything from a 6 to an 8 seed right now, so 7 seems about right. A win over KU and/or a strong showing in the Big XII tournament should lock them up at 6 with an outside shot at 5 if they do both.

I've seen them a 6 seed right now in a projection or two as well. The move up is probably more other teams faltering than rewarding Mizzou.
