I like Bradley. I like Edu too, at least more than Altidore.Fat Strat wrote:Why would you keep Edu in there instead of Bradley? Otherwise I don't mind that at all. I really like Dempsey in the midfield, but he would be better up top than Agudelo and Altidore.

Power, vision, balls etc. Altidore with the golazo.

I think what you meant to say was "Suck it, robbotis" but I might be wrong.

I could score in the Dutch league, and I'm a keeper.lukethedrifter wrote:I think what you meant to say was "Suck it, robbotis" but I might be wrong.

One touch, then straight to the upper 90 from 30 yards out, with extreme prejudice. Still only 21.

That's a pretty great goal. I can't say that I've ever seen him even in a position to consider taking a shot like that with the USMNT. Would love to see him show that kind of shooting ability more often.

Well, as you said, you missed the Gold Cup. In which he scored a game winning goal from distance.Fat Strat wrote:That's a pretty great goal. Nephew is 4-1-2 with 4 SO to start his college career. Not too shabby. Now back to EPL and MSL

Speaking of MLS, Timbers lost last night at NY, probably ending their playoff run. 10/18 teams make the playoffs anyway, and they're definitely a mediocre team (with promise), but I was hoping and rooting.
They were just getting back into the game down 1-0 when the ref called a phantom handball in the box, and gave it a ridiculous red card (even if it had been a handball). The whole game had been called very poorly to that point. Timbers lost this game on their own, but the ref poured cement in the hole they had dug themselves in. MLS refs are garbage, have been all year and it's a problem that needs addressing.

IMO, maybe you're out of position, or you suck (if you're an MLS ref, this is very likely), and you call a handball there, because it's sort of kind of almost close. But it's just so atrocious that they would give a red card and remove all hope for the Timbers.
Again, I don't blame the refs for the loss, but I'm still really pissed.
