Why did I have to miss this game? Dammit. By just getting back and seeing the box score just before the game ended, it looked like Zaire Taylor hit another buzzer beater?

That takes about 0.5% of the sting out of having to see the Tyus Edney highlight every March.

He hit a ridiculous shot to tie it and send it to OT. Then he hit a runner in the lane to tie it with under a minute to play. Iowa State blew an easy chance to take the lead, giving Mizzou the ball back with 6.1 seconds left. Taylor takes it the length of the floor and puts it high off the glass over two guys as time expires, Edney style.

Well, I'll sheepishly be excited that Missouri State got its 20th win of the year last night. Played like poo, shooting 33% from the field, 25% from 3, less than 50% from the free throw line, but they survived and advanced.

Play Wichita State today, the team I like least of any school in basketball. Please Bears, beat Wichita and it will have been an amazing bounce back season. Remember, they won 11 games and 3 conference games all of last year. They have tripled their conference wins, and are close to doubling their overall wins.
