Is it wrong that I'm hoping for Craig to play and Holliday to PH?

No, I want us to have the best odds at winning, and right now a healthy Craig is better than a banged up Holliday.

Am ok with that. I'd much rather have a gimped and shellshocked Cruz than a replacement with nothing to lose. That is a good omen IMO.

Supposedly Hamilton doesn't have a groin (or is it hamstring?) and he still killed us last night. I expect both Cruz and Napoli to continue hurting us tonight.

Holliday said after that game he'll be ready Friday, but manager Tony La Russa was more cautious.

"We thought at first he had fractured it, but I was told by the trainer later that it's not a fracture," La Russa said. "I think it's swelling and he's got a pretty good bruise there. So it may be we need to replace him tomorrow."

I think the injury gives Tony "cover" to start Craig.
