I don't understand this crap when having 2 strikes and looking at pitches in the middle of the plate and stand there and don't even swing to at least trying to foul it off to get another pitch. You are taught as a little leaguer to be ready to swing. It's disgusting.

This guy's batting average has dropped 20-25 points in the past few weeks. And had 4 days off with the all star break. Still slumping, what does Marmol do? Puts him in the clean-up spot. ???
