Although, he's actually been working the count fairly decently (especially for him) all post-season...he's just not squaring up when he's swinging.

Good gameplan at the plate so far...Cards jumped on Verlander early when he was mostly going to focus on establishing his FB.
Now that he's mixing in the offspeed, they're being more selective at the plate and making him work the count. His stuff is filthy, so he's going to get his Ks...but the PC is already high (71 after 4) so any AB that goes deep in the count is a good AB from here on out.
I'm liking it.
