I think the camera angle from center field is making it seem like the pitch is farther outside than it really is...but even then, that's a pretty low strike to be calling and he's called it a few times now.bschulte wrote:WOW. Those ankle high strikes absolutely kill a hitter's chances. Not only are they down an undeserved strike, but they're susceptible to sliders starting at that level and ending up in the dirt. Even Pujols looked awful after getting one of those called in the NLCS. Low strike called on 1st pitch and K'd fishing on the next 2.bschulte wrote:WOW.
