Would you stop it already? I'm as fatigued by the negativity as anyone, but there have been legit gripes with Tony for years and particularly last night. If you want to make an argument in his favor, then take the time and do it. This passive-aggressive curt dismissal thing is tiresome no matter who does it.
I have made several arguments. If you don't want to take the time to read them, that's on you.
No, I've seen you agree that he screwed up. Which begs the question why you're baiting "Tony haters" with stuff like the post above.
The Tony haters are blaming the loss on him. I am not. I am not bating anyone.
You're in a thread called "TLR Head Scratcher thread" using the simplistic phrase "Tony haters" to describe people with legitimate gripes about a world series game. You can't possibly be serious about this.
So, I am not allowed to disagree? I sometimes think some posters here get more enjoyment from a Cards loss when they can complain about TLR than they get from a win. I am calling people out on this. If you don't like it, tough. Get over it.
IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE WART, STOP PLAYIN WITH FROGS! HE SAID GET OVER IT! WOOO!

I wasn't able to read/listen to explanations for most of the crazy Tony stuff last night. What was the explanation for bringing Lynn in.

Tony called for Motte, the bullpen thought he said Lynn, Tony found out when Lynn walked out. They blamed crowd noise.

Other than it being a complete embarrassment, I'm not sure why this is getting so much attention. This [expletive] up was after the damage was already done and no further damage took place. Has Tony been asked why he left his lefty in to face their hottest (RH) hitter?

Tony claimed that he wanted Motte to face Napoli, but Motte wasn't ready.

Don't know why he didnt have scrabble give the IBB though.

How did he know Motte wasn't ready? Is it because he was sitting out there watching Lynn warm up?

That's just what he said.

Doesn't make any sense at all.
