Should've given them to me, damn it.

I've been on a Gang Starr kick for some reason.

That is the kind of thing they would do. Did you get tix?
Not yet. I'm waiting to see if prices come down at all on Stubhub. They actually have slightly, but still are way over face. We'll see...
The cheapest ticket on Stubhub for this is $170, and that's for 1 individual ticket halfway up the upper bowl. Lower bowl is $225. This is basically the same as when they went on sale. Usually Stubhub starts high, then comes down a bit, then rises again as the date gets near. I never saw them drop yet for this one. I still might get lucky but we shall see.

Is there anything better than the outro to Maggie May?
Hint: no, there isn't.

I'm going to go get myself a mandolin. Who's our bluegrass guy here? I don't remember. Maybe he can point me in the right direction. Will those cheap ones I see at guitar center play with good action and hold a tune? I always see that dirt cheap Rogue, but I'd be afraid of something that cheap. They usually have Ibanez and others in the $100-$200 range. Decent starters, those?

I went to a music festival in atlanta over the weekend that featured many acts including Lana Del Rey and Jack White.

Lana Del Rey has probably one of the best voices i've heard but she is absolutely boring as hell to watch perform. She is not a music fest act--more of a Ryman Act that you just kinda sit and enjoy. She is quite the looker, though.

Jack White, however, is polar opposite. I wasn't that much of a Jack White fan before this weekend, but after seeing him live--man what a show. I've given his stuff a spin again and appreciate it that much more. Highly recommend seeing him live.

A girl I pick around with occasionally got one of those Ibanez mandolins last Christmas. I think it sounds good and she's been getting good with it.
