Re: PRO wrestling thread
WWE is pretty stringent about testing for PEDs. Brian Cage has said one of the reasons he went to AEW was because he knew he'd never pass WWE's Wellness Policy.
I believe Bray is the first person on the active roster to die since Eddie and Benoit. Umaga was close but was released shortly before his death, and of course Brodie Lee was with AEW at the time. It is definitely a difficult lifestyle. Wrestling is basically like getting into a low-speed car crash every night you perform.

Brian Cage is basically the Create-A-Wrestler we all made in video games. Muscled beyond belief. Looks like he was made in a can of Surge. Still does a bunch of crazy luchador moves.thrill wrote: ↑August 25 23, 12:03 pmlol I like Brian Cage. All In was very good. Great matches and enough slight booking curve balls to outsmart the fans. I'm glad they're not paying off the MJF-Cole turn yet. Might as well let it breathe and see where it goes, even if its not my favorite story line.
CM Punk got into another altercation, this time with Jack Perry, who called him out onscreen in his match. He's not going to stop holding his ground/old school wrestler ways and Tony Khan clearly isn't going to stop him from taking it upon himself to confront dudes backstage, so I wonder when its going to end? Jack Perry is talented but about as charismatic and likable as wet gray paint. His angle right now sucks, mostly because he doesn't have the presence to pull it off. If he keeps poking Punk, he's going to get himself Ryan Nemeth'd if he doesn't become a lot more compelling as a performer. He's a good wrestler, but everything else about him is a black hole of charisma.
The FTR v Bucks match was incredible. Regardless of how corny (Bucks, Dax) or law breaking (Cash) they are, those dudes know how to put on an opus in the ring.

He's basically like if the most alpha guy you know got put in the machine that Shredder put bebop and rock steady in to make them beasts.MrCrowesGarden wrote: ↑August 25 23, 3:13 pmBrian Cage is basically the Create-A-Wrestler we all made in video games. Punk may have also gotten into a 2nd but much lesser altercation with Miro, who asked CM Punk about what happened with Jack Perry.
I don't know how someone who doesn't drink starts this many fights.

Well at least he's picking fights with guys who can kick his ass and not just 5'8 guys from the valley.MrCrowesGarden wrote: ↑August 29 23, 2:05 pmPunk may have also gotten into a 2nd but much lesser altercation with Miro, who asked CM Punk about what happened with Jack Perry.

Re: PRO wrestling thread
Her last AEW appearance was in Cincinnati and she came out with his Reds jersey to almost zero pop. Terrible showing by Cincy. Trying to think of an StL analog. Like, if Matt Holliday's wife was a famous wrestler and she came out in StL with his jersey, the crowd would lose it.
