Common misnomer. Walton's donate a ton of money to the UA, but next to nothing to athletics. They did in the early 90s to build the basketball arena, but couldn't care less about athletics.

Tyson and JB Hunt are your power players.

yea thats why i asked because the haslams dont donate [expletive] to the AD but they have all the power
Oh. Well. No.

Also, Lindsey used to be but I think he's taken a step back. IIRC he was the guy that forced Malzahn as co-offensive coordinator (to land the Springdale 5)

Update me on this circus. I’ve been out of the loop for 12 hours.

In the past 12 hours, Currie reached a deal with Leake but then Currie got fired.

naw there was never a deal in place...seriously, do not listen to the national media because they are a bunch of talking heads. (See tweet below)

what happened was that currie DID go rogue, against the AD's wishes and DID meet with leach. someone within the AD has been sabotaging the process the entire time and this was killed before any sort of offer could be made.

currie returns to knoxville and is called in beverly "airhead" davenports office, a meeting that lasted for roughly 12 minutes.

currie has been fired.

the haslams house of cards is crumbling.

fulmer is taking over as interim.

hopefully fences will be mended and blackburn is brought in and bring gruden with him.

PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!

You do recall correctly. He has taken a step back because of age. I have been out of Arkansas too long to know, but I wonder how much pull LIndsay's son has these days?

Let Tennessee know I'm available after Lou Holtz turns them down.
