Is this just a pretext to try to fire Currie for cause, or is there something substantive here? And does Article IX refer to Title IX, or governing documents of the University of Tennessee?

Knoxville radio says for cause. Supposedly he went rogue going out west to interview Mike Leach.

Then I'm thinking that Article IX is a specific clause in Currie's contract. Based on a limited search, a lot of contracts at the University of Tennessee are divided into articles, including Lane Kiffin's contract.
