LOL, yep.skmsw wrote:Our trademark double-switch, where the pitcher still comes out after one inning, a worse defensive player is rotated in, and the double-switched player is removed from the game before his spot in the order comes back?st.lewis11 wrote:I hope this Winn PH AB doesn't turn into a double switch.
And boy, Trevor sure works hard for his money doesn't he?

Or for firing up the wrong troops.jim wrote:Yep, if you run your mouth like that and take 2 of 3 then you get pats on the back for firing the troops up. Run your mouth and don't win the series and you get blamed for getting everyone too worked up.fanforever wrote:I imagine most intelligent Cincinnati Red fans will be extrmely pissed off at Brandon Phillips after this series is over

Five of the eight relievers haven't pitched in a week, Wainwright is going Wednesday, followed by an off day. If they get any more saved they may rust out.The Third Man wrote:Christ, can't we ever save our bullpen?

Why are we using McClellan here? He probably won't be available tomorrow. Wouldn't this be a good spot for Boggs or something?
edit: Not that he didn't do a good job.

No game against Cincy this year will be a good place for Boggs unless we're down 10 or something.
